Traditional manufacturing processes within our industry have had a significant impact on our planet due to pollution, over production and excess wastage, but it doesn’t have to continue this way.
FOUR PAWS AUSTRALIA
At Kona Designs, we are proud to say that we donate $1 from every purchase to Four Paws Australia. This global animal welfare organisation protects animals under direct human influence who may be suffering. Their vision as with ours, is a world where humans treat animals with respect, empathy and understanding.
FOUR PAWS’ sustainable campaigns and projects focus on companion animals including stray dogs and cats, animals in fashion, and wild animals – such as bears, big cats, orangutans and elephants – kept in inappropriate conditions as well as in disaster and conflict zones.
We are actively committed to the humane treatment of stray dogs and cats as well as to better keeping conditions for companion and farm animals. We establish and operate sanctuaries worldwide, in which wild animals rescued from abusive captivity find a species-appropriate home.
FOUR PAWS takes a problem-solving approach and offers animals in distress swift and direct aid. Our aim is to achieve and establish changes in politics, society and the economy that will benefit animals – through projects, campaigns and education. Our work is based on scientific expertise, sound research and intensive national and international lobbying.

Our Process
At Kona Designs, our shells are ethically and sustainably sourced from New Zealand and sustainably turned into a shell sheet that is protected by a recycled plastic bumper. Our Biodegradable range is 100% compostable and made from biodegradable and eco-friendly materials.
Packaging
Each Kona Designs order arrives in plastic-free, recyclable packaging. We place the phone case in a linen pouch which can be reused later for other accessories, and this pouch is wrapped in honeycomb wrap which is fully recyclable. We ship all our orders in 100% biodegradable, compostable mailers.
As a brand, we have a responsibility to do everything we can to protect our planet, that is through selling sustainable products and delivered in fully recyclable and sustainable packaging.

ABOUT THE OWNER
My name is Isabelle and I am the founder of Kona Designs. I run Kona Designs completely solo and love every minute of it, especially how I can connect with everyone on a more personal level, building a sense of community.
I started Kona Designs just over a year ago as I saw a gap in the market for unique phone cases and wanted to bring my passion for photography, the ocean and sustainability into the market to build a luxe, beachy brand for people with similar passions! That's you!
